Commissioned by Brecknock Consulting for Gold Coast City Council. Roost is a response design brief and location. Roost has a dual function as Osprey nesting platform and nautical marker for Sanctuary Cove, with sweeping legs inspired by the islands namesake the Jabiru stork, and historic nautical themes influencing the decorative upper section. Roost stands on the edge of water and land at Jabiru Island point.
